Middle and High School Master Classes On Demand
Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company offers masterclass and workshop opportunities year round. Company dancers and/or Education Director visit school dance classes or dance company rehearsals to teach a variety of dance contents. The menu of master classes includes contemporary dance technique, improvisation, composition, and international/cultural dances. The duration of classes is typically 45 minutes to an hour. These classes align with the Utah Fine Arts Core Standards for dance.

Young Dancer Workshop
These two-day (or full 6 day) workshops, taught by the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company dancers, are designed specifically for high school and middle school students. Classes include contemporary dance technique, improvisation, composition, and electives (hip-hop, ballet, yoga, folk dance, etc).The Young Dancer’s Workshop provides an incredible opportunity for students to work closely with Ririe-Woodbury Dancers. The Company will create an original work of choreography with each school for the students to perform at the end of the workshop.
